Located in the heart of WAMM, AOS provides private school education for early childhood, pre-kindergarten; lower school, K - 4; and middle school, 5 - 8.
Kipling Street Academy (KSA) is a private child care center and preschool located on the west side of WAMM. KSA offers care to infants from age 2 months to children age 5.
The University of St. Thomas (UST) is a private Catholic university, immediately adjacent to WAMM. Founded by Basilian Fathers, it is the only Catholic university in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
